The ACT team (Antitrust, Competition & Trade) comprises 64 specialists dedicated to handling complex regulatory, commercial, and cross-border merger & acquisition matters. Due to its continued growth, our client is partnering with Proselect to recruit a:

ACT (Anti-trade, Competition & Trade) Associate (H/F/X)

  1. Your challenge!

    As part of the ACT team, your key responsibilities will include:

    • Advising and representing international clients on complex antitrust and regulatory matters.
    • Handling mergers & acquisitions, competition law investigations, and international trade cases.
    • Drafting and negotiating transactional and commercial contracts related to competition law.
    • Preparing submissions and pleadings for competition authorities and courts.
    • Actively managing client relationships and coordinating transactions.
    • Contributing to the firm’s business development, participating in client events, and mentoring junior associates.
  2. Your talents

    You are a talented legal professional with the following qualifications:

    • Outstanding academic background, preferably with an LL.M. degree.
    • 3 to 6 years of experience in competition and/or trade law (experience in an international or top-tier law firm preferred).
    • Fluency in English is mandatory (working language); proficiency in French or Dutch is an asset.
    • Strong analytical and drafting skills, with a structured and rigorous mindset.
    • Ability to handle multiple high-stakes cases with autonomy and proactivity.
    • Team-oriented, motivated, and results-driven professional.
