Our client is a company active in agrochemicals, particularly through the marketing and distribution of renowned brands.

To oversee the operational teams, we are looking for a:

OPERATIONS MANAGER (M/F/X)

1. Your challenge!

   A hands-on and strategic manager.

   As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in managing the operations of a dynamic plant with 80 to 100 employees, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, and deadline standards.
   You will also be responsible for implementing the medium- and long-term strategy in alignment with the group’s objectives.

   Your main responsibilities:

   • Ensure compliance with the HSQE policy.
   • Optimize production and mobilize resources to improve processes.
   • Enhance performance and control operating costs.
   • Strengthen the site’s image and customer relationships.
   • Collaborate with other plants and the supply chain.
   • Manage processes related to ISO certifications.
   • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
   • Monitor OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
   • Promote change management to support teams during transitions and enhance their engagement.
   • Develop talent and maintain a positive social climate.

2. Your talents

   Unifying, proactive, and eager for challenges!

   You hold a degree in industrial engineering and have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role, with proficiency in English almost equal to your French.

   Additionally, you identify with the following points:

   • You have experience in relations with unions.
   • You understand the implications of working on a Seveso site.
   • You come from the chemical industry.
   • You possess strong interpersonal skills that allow you to listen and adapt to different audiences. You can work both autonomously and as part of a team, managing and leading teams effectively.
   • You are pedagogical, assertive, customer-oriented, and results-driven. Moreover, you have an analytical mindset that enhances your effectiveness in your actions.
   • You are sensitive to safety, quality, and environmental issues.
   • Autonomy, reliability, and conscientiousness define you.
