To lead the activities of their Belgium’s site, Fiven is partnering with Proselect for the recruitment of a :

PLANT MANAGER (M/F/X)

1. Your challenge!

   An entrepreneurial mindset with strong strategic and human vision !

   The position holder is expected to develop the strategy for the business in close cooperation with the COO Europe and to create and implement development plans for the site.

   Your main responsabilities are as follows :

   • Accountable for the safety, quality, environmental and legal compliance of the Fiven Belgium operation.  Ensure that the implementation of the related measures are adequate, and that sufficient resources are available ;
   • Translate and cascade Fiven’s strategic objectives into clear action plans to be executed by the local operating units ;
   • Ensure adequate planning of people, equipment, and other resources to fulfill delivery requirements, both short and long-term;
   • Continuous development of teamwork and cooperation with Fiven Belgium departments, as well as between global business units ;
   • Coordinate with and support other Group Functions, including but not limited to R&D, Commercial, Finance & Planning ;
   • Act as the communication focal point for the Belgium facilities to both internal and external stakeholders.

   As Plant Manager, you hold a Master’s degree and justify at least 10 years of successful experience in an industrial production environment with a related background, ideally in process manufacturing.

   Moreover, the right candidate will have :

   • Ideally has managed a mid-sized business or a relatively independent unit of a larger company ;
   • P&L and Track record ;
   • Strong strategic vision and ability to articulate and develop the next growth plans for the company combined with strong execution skills in driving and implementing the strategy liaising with multiple stakeholders ;
   • Clear alignment connection to achieving the organization’s strategic goals ;
   • High expectations for performance and accountability for actions and results ;
   • Encouraging people to innovate, create, and be open to change. Empowering people and having a bias for action and an urgency to move forward ;
   • Creating frequent and open two-way communication with people; fostering openness and trust among people with high levels of feedback and coaching. Team-oriented and supportive ;
   • Be fluent in English AND French ;
   • Proactive, results-driven, multi-tasker, and leadership are part of your undeniable qualities.
